| 1. What is "The STARGATE Mod"? |
| The STARGATE Mod Team is working on a large-scale modification for the Half-Life 2 engine. As you might already have guessed, this "Mod" will take the player on a journey into the Stargate universe known from the sci-fi TV series "Stargate SG-1". Just like in the series, the player will have to complete various missions. A multiplayer part is also available and will make the Mod even more fun to play. |

| 2. When will the Mod be finished? |
| An early version of the game will be available very soon. |

| 3. Will this be a singleplayer or multiplayer game? |
| Our idea is to do both. However, we are currently focusing on the multiplayer part, which will be released first. We don't have any concrete plans for a singleplayer campaign yet. |

| 4. What do I need to play the Mod? |
| You need at least four things: 1. Steam (get it at http://www.steampowered.com/) 2. A Steam account 3. The 'Source SDK Base 2007' tool which should be available for free on Steam by now. 4. The mod itself of course. |

| 5. I want to apply to the team, what should I do? |
| There are two ways to apply to the dev-team. You can either use our application form (available through the contacts page), or go to the forum (http://forum.sgmod.de/) and apply there. In either case you MUST post examples of your work. Otherwise your application may be ignored. |

| 6. Will you conduct beta tests before releasing the mod to the public? |
| Internal beta tests are currently going on. However, later on, there will most probably be public beta tests to ensure maximum quality. This is not possible without your help and support. |

| 7. I want to beta test. Where can I apply? |
| The project is currently in closed beta stage. This means that beta testing is performed with a limited number of persons. To increase your chances for being picked as a beta-tester, you should for example actively engage in our community board or otherwise support development. |

| 8. Based on which criteria are you going to select betatesters? |
| First of all it is important to actively show yourself on the forums (even before applying). Show us that you exist and that you are interested in the Mod. This way you will get to know us better as well as the other way around. Other than that you should as a Stargate fan have a certain know-how about the franchise and enjoy playing FPS games. |
