Hey, hold on a second! You have just unwraped one very special present: So far we have been releasing news, images and sometimes even video footage of the mod. But this time we'll take the next big step! We are going to release a layout test version of one of your multiplayer deathmatch maps: dm_roswell47. That's right, starting today we'll be hosting a HL2DM server housing only our pre-release version of dm_roswell47, called 'sgm_roswell47_layout_test'.
First of all, why are we doing this? Well besides the fact that quite a few members of our community have been begging us to release a map of some sorts we'd like to give you the opportunity to help test and finish the map. Tell us what you like about the map and what in your eyes should be done differently. In other words, help us to improve it. Now on to the details:
- The server is running on the following address: 85.25.20.202:27017. To connect you can either add the address to your favorites in your Steam Serverbrowser or you can simply click on the link above to connect. You could also search for a HL2DM server which has the 'sgm_roswell47_layout_test' map running.
NOTE: that the server is password-protected with 'stargate'. Tell all your friends.
- The Map can be downloaded directly from our website or from our HL2DM while connecting.
- Most importantly please do not forget to give us some feedback at our specially created forum-thread which can be found here. Stay tuned to this forum-thread as we'll be announcing a special 'developers vs. community' match that we're planning for the coming days!
