Hello! Just discovered this site and Ive read through some of the material, very nice stuff you have here and wish you all the best in completing this mod. Anyway my question here is where in the Stargate timeline is this mod going to be set in? Most Stargate mods thus far have been set pre-Atlantis. Now, after all this time and with Stargate Universe out, are you guys planning on implementing anything from these spinoffs? (Atlantis/Universe)

First of all Welcome! Smiley

Now originally when we started out just as a singleplayer mod we planned on kind of going through seasons 3 to 8 or so. Focusing on an SG-Team based in the SGC. Now when committing our resources to multiplayer we stuck roughly to this time-line and are currently mostly only incorporating stuff seen on SG-1. So for now it's essentially Goa'uld/Jaffa versus Tau'ri. Partly this is due to the limited resources of our really small team. If we were to get more active members we might be able to add some Pegasus and whatnot but yeah, right now it's up to any potential fan creations to make up for it! Stargate universe specifically has been a no-go for us thus far.

Hope that answers your questions. Wink

Word Bikdu (AKA [AE] 3721)  Wink

I didn't know you had dabbled in Hammer. You should try making a full blown map as' a project' for your summer break (we could test it on our SGTLS server). If I had the time I would be a level designer for sure (I did do it back in HL1 days)!

As far as including SGA & SGU into the mod this could kind of be done by the map makers in the sense that they create maps specifically based on episodes from them.

The only issue though would be the star gates and DHD's though as it would be a ton of work to make three sets of them for use in any one mod.

I could easily see a map to take control of the Destiny being done for any stargate mod. Shoot it might have already been done in another mod. I know Garry's Mod has got a good amount of active star gate fans that are creating stuff for it all the time.

LOL 82694.

I took him a few days to catch me playing SGM before he inquired with me about it and I pointed him to the site. He's a youngster and has lots of time on his hands so I thought it might be worthwhile to see if he was interested in helping out with SGM.

Hey 82694!

I admit I was a little slow in finding this Tongue anyway I've officially started "dabbling" in Hammer again. I posted a little blurb on the AE forums if you wanna take a look. Bump me on steam sometime. Ill definitely have questions.  Grin
